About Kristin
I am an English major who specializes in literary analysis, essay writing, and creative writing. I have maintained a 4.0 in my major studies throughout my college experience because I am able to efficiently consume and interpret literary works. I have been informally tutoring my peers in English Literature for years, and the majority of the people I have helped saw a significant improvement in their essay scores over time.

I am an interactive tutor who believes in catering lessons to the needs of my students. My purpose in teaching is to impart knowledge and instill in my student(s) a love for literature, so I try to make my lessons as entertaining and educational as possible. I like to talk with my student and gauge where they are at before creating a stimulating and memorable lesson plan because I know that not everyone has the same interests or aptitude for writing or literary analysis. I then base my pacing on the student's progress, upcoming projects, personal goals, and individual circumstances so that they can improve with being too overwhelmed by the curriculum.

Details
If you inform me that you will not be able to attend your lesson at least 24 hours before our appointment, there will be no fee charged. I understand that things come up, so I see no need to charge for the full hour if a student is unable to make it. However, if you do not let me know before the day of our appointment, there will be a $10 fee charged because you did not give me sufficient time to otherwise fill your time slot.
