About Shamsa

I’m an educator and founder of STS Academy, with over six years of experience in tutoring. I have supported children in securing places at some of the world’s most competitive grammar and independent schools and universities, alongside helping others make significant improvements in their academic performance.

My background in healthcare and education has shaped my analytical, structured and personalized approach to teaching. I have extensive experience working with students of different abilities, including those with ADHD and additional learning needs.

I founded STS Academy because I believe that access to exceptional education should not be limited by geography. I am particularly passionate about supporting international students, including those in Dubai, who aspire to achieve top grades and access leading British schools and universities.

About the lesson

With over six years of experience in teaching, I specialise in helping students achieve exceptional academic results. My students have successfully secured places at some of the world’s most prestigious grammar and independent schools and universities, with others making significant improvements in their examination grades.

I offer personalised English lessons for students following the British curriculum, including GCSE, IGCSE and entrance examination preparation.

Each lesson is structured around measurable progress, combining targeted assessments, proven examination strategies and regular feedback. My approach focuses on strengthening reading comprehension, analytical writing, vocabulary and examination technique.
