Having just obtained my Bachelor's degree in philosophy and moving forward to obtain another in anthropology, I have a passion for learning that I want to share with you! My approach to teaching is focused on collaborative discussion. I will teach you how to work through readings and make connections to various themes (lenses). I want to know your ideas and I want to help you expand on them! We will look at readings together and work to identify themes and make stellar connections!
In terms of essay writing, I will teach you the proper techniques for structuring and formatting a paper, as well as stylistic aspects that will make your writing stand out. I will teach you how to organize complex ideas in a way that easily conveys your thoughts to your reader. I will also help you write impactful thesis statements that grasp your reader's attention making them want to learn more. I will also teach you effective editing techniques.
My lessons can be adjusted for grades 9-12, but I believe that grades 11-12 would benefit the most:)
