About Alejandra
I have worked within the International Baccalaureate curriculum throughout my academic life, which has allowed me to fully immerse myself in the world of writing and the English language. As a humanities major, I read and write extensively, giving me a strong understanding of what makes a good essay, letter, or story, and how to adapt different writing styles to achieve specific goals.
I focus on producing clear, fluent writing with correct grammar and a voice that can shift between formal and informal contexts as needed. As a tutor, I am proactive, patient, and adaptable. I strongly believe that everyone learns differently, and that an effective teacher adjusts their approach to meet each student’s learning style and pace.

My lessons are for anyone looking to improve their writing—whether for school, personal projects, or to feel more confident expressing ideas in a professional way. I adapt each lesson to your goals, using creative writing exercises, essay-writing strategies, and rubrics so you can clearly see your progress.
What makes my teaching different is that I’ve been writing long essays since a young age. Having learned as a student myself, I know how to make learning more understandable, motivating, practical, and less overwhelming.
