I love music, and I am always looking for something new and unusual - I'd love to hear your reccomendations. I am fascinated by martial arts. It is a really interesting and diverse subject, and there is so much more to it than fighting. Marital arts have really helped me to avoid conflict, be positive, and be more like the person I want to be.

Hi, I'm Tom, and I am a British native English speaker - I live in England, but I have also lived in Cyprus, Spain, and Thailand.
I am a patient and thorough teacher. My focus is on creating a comfortable learning environment, and improving students' English skills. This is the same for any level of student. Forget about how good or bad you think your English is - our goal is to make progress!
As well as helping you practice conversational English, I can guide you through any material of your choosing. We can read and discuss any article on the internet which you are interested in; or we can just have an informal chat. I am not an IELTs expert, but am more than happy to help you practice.
I generally type corrections, to avoid interupting your speaking. If I notice you are making a gramatical error consistently, I will point it out to you and show you how to use the correct grammar. The longest sessions I do are 30 minutes :)
