About Emma
I am an undergraduate at Cambridge University and graduated from school as a scholar, achieving 3A*s at A Level in English Literature (and 100% in 2 out of 3 papers), Religious Studies and Art respectively. At GCSE, I achieved 8A*s in English Literature, English Language, Maths, Additional Science, Photography, Art, Religious Studies and Spanish and an A in Science. With education and learning being of huge importance to me, I am very keen to put both my tutoring experience and educational experience to good use. Having just finished secondary school, I am very familiar with the current examination systems which makes me confident in my ability to help tutees fulfil their full potential. Being slightly younger than other tutors, I have found I am able to act as both a mentor and tutor. My most recent students obtained terrific results in their GCSEs and A Levels, averaging a two-three grade leap from the time I started tutoring them to the time they sat their exams (this progress is typically within a 6-8 month period, but could be shorter depending on the regularity of sessions). One student just recently obtained an A* in her A Level Philosophy from a D grade at the end of her year 12 mock exams.
