I’m a certified educator with over 10 years of experience helping students grow in reading, writing, and confidence. I currently serve as an interim principal and have a background in instructional coaching, literacy intervention, and classroom teaching. I hold a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have earned mastery-level certification in LETRS, aligning my teaching with the Science of Reading. I believe in creating supportive, structured learning environments where every student can succeed. I bring patience, consistency, and a genuine passion for helping learners thrive.

About the lesson

I use a structured, student-centered approach grounded in the Science of Reading. Lessons are personalized and typically include a quick warm-up, targeted skill practice (like decoding, fluency, or comprehension), and reflection. I'm LETRS-certified and skilled in supporting struggling readers, students with IEPs, and those needing enrichment in literature. I balance high expectations with encouragement and consistency. My sessions are ideal for elementary to middle school students who need to build confidence, close learning gaps, or explore literature more deeply.
