About

As a second-grade teacher in Connecticut, I bring a strong foundation in early childhood education and a deep passion for helping young learners grow. I specialize in building literacy skills, boosting confidence, and making learning a joyful and engaging experience. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. It is tailored to each student’s needs and pace. With years of classroom experience, I understand how to break down concepts clearly and create a positive, encouraging environment. Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about reading and running, both of which remind me that growth takes practice, consistency, and heart. I bring that same mindset to every tutoring session.

I take a student-centered, supportive approach, focusing on building both skill and confidence. I adapt each session to the student’s learning style and goals, using clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and real-world examples.

Each session includes a quick review, a focused mini-lesson, guided practice, and independent work with feedback. I adjust pacing as needed and always end with a recap and next steps.

I’m patient, reliable, and encouraging. I focus not just on content, but on helping students build strong learning habits and self-confidence.

I work with elementary and middle school students, and tailor lessons to meet their specific needs and goals.
