About Marissa

I have 17+ years of experience helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. The most rewarding part of my tutoring lessons is seeing all students succeed and with confidence, as they master new skills. I would love to help your child reach their goals in any subject, either online or in person.

About the lesson

I help students in reading, writing, math, etc. I offer bilingual tutoring for children in grades 1st through 5th grade. My lessons are educational and fun. I test my students to see exactly what they need in each subject. I adapt my teaching methods to each student's unique learning style through active listening, varied strategies, and open communication. I keep students engaged by connecting challenging concepts to real-world examples and breaking down problems into manageable steps. Regular communication with students' parents is essential for understanding needs and reinforcing learning.
