About Patricia

Welcome! My name is Patricia, and I am a dedicated educator holding a B.S. in Chemistry and Sustainability. My academic and professional background allows me to bridge the gap between complex analytical sciences and high-level humanities, offering premium, dual-discipline mentorship in both Chemistry and English Literature & Creative Writing.
My mission as a tutor is to transform academic anxiety into definitive, measurable confidence. I do not believe in superficial memorization or formulaic scripts. Instead, I equip my students with the foundational critical-thinking frameworks, structural patterns, and problem-solving strategies required to independently master their coursework, ace competitive examinations, and articulate their ideas with absolute clarity.

Beyond my rigorous scientific and literary background, I hold professional certifications in CPR, First Aid, and have served as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT). This extensive caregiving experience ensures that my instructional approach is rooted in deep patience, emotional intelligence, and unwavering professionalism. I specialize in cultivating a focused, supportive, and high-standard learning environment where students feel safe to challenge themselves, learn from mistakes, and unlock their full academic potential.
Let’s work together to achieve your academic goals!

I don't believe in rote memorization or formulaic writing. Because both chemistry and high-level English can feel incredibly abstract, I break complex concepts—whether it is a multi-step stoichiometry problem or a nuanced literary analysis—down into simple, logical building blocks. I focus heavily on structural patterns: once you understand why a chemical reaction occurs or how an essay thesis is built, you don't have to memorize a script; you can execute it independently.

I hold a B.S. in Chemistry and Sustainability alongside a deep, lifelong passion for literature and creative writing. This rare dual-brained background allows me to support students across completely different disciplines with equal rigor. Plus, my background as a certified caregiver means my sessions are deeply patient and empathetic. I specialize in transforming high-stress academic anxiety into a calm, structured, and confident learning environment.
