About Melanie
I offer lessons for acoustic or classical guitar. I started playing classical guitar when I was 10 y/o. I had classes for about 5-6 years, participated in many concerts and multiple times in the SJMW (Swiss Youth Music Competition - I grew up in Switzerland). I joined the school ensemble at some point and the Swiss guitar orchestra with which we had concerts in Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. That's that for the classical stuff - beside that I play acoustic guitar, literally the camp fire songs we all know so I can sort you out if you simply want to learn some chords for your favourite songs.
I do have a little experience in composing, but that was more into direction film music.

I know how important it is to have a teacher that can motivate you and make it fun and interesting rather than just making sure you've done your homework :)
That said it also depends on what you want to achieve - if you go for classical guitar I would say we'll go into reading scores, basic music theory, start with simple things and make our way up. With acoustic guitar I'd suggest we'll learn some chords and songs and some theory as well if you want.
Overall I'm flexible with what your wishes are.
