About Brocklund

I am a writing student in his last year at the University of Iowa before graduate school. I have extensive studies in script and playwriting specifically but have a thorough and growing understanding of writing in many other categories, such as poetry, short form, and non-fiction. I am a Drama Editor with Earthwords student magazine and have had my work performed or read to the public on multiple occasions.

About the lesson

Being new to the tutoring world, I believe that this allows me to be as flexible as necessary for your learning. I have so many examples of wonderful instructors and fellow students I look up to to see how a properly nurtured environment makes for better learning. I have undergone many workshop courses and because so have a sense of how to approach an idividual's unique voice and learning style while also relaying objective criticism in a caring and shame-free environment.
