About Christina
English has always been my favorite subject, and I love everything that falls under its umbrella. Growing up, my mom was a medical transcriptionist and my babysitter was a homeschool coordinator. Because of them, I was able to read and write by the age of three. Since then, I've rarely been able to keep my nose out of a book. I also struggle with having ADHD, which made school very difficult for me. I have experience working with children who also have learning disabilities like ADHD and autism. Because of my personal experience, I know that language skills and literacy are essential crafts to master for academic success.

Learning is meant to be fun and exciting. I make sure my lessons are interactive and keep the student engaged. I go beyond teaching just literacy and grammar by incorporating etymological mini-lessons. Why is the plural of "goose" "geese", but the plural of "moose" is not "meese"? I can get into that and more, all while keeping you or your child fully entertained and engaged. I also offer proofreads for essays at $10 per page.

I met Christina through a friend and she's been a big help for my daughter. She was struggling with her spelling and reading, but Christina helped get her grades up.
Christina helped my son with his reading comprehension. She redirected him when he got distracted and got him caught up on his summer reading. I strongly recommend her.
