About Megan
My name is Megan Rauth and currently a certified speech and language pathologist seeking out the opportunity to help children in a different platform and skill area. I currently have 2-3 years of professional experience in the speech and language pathology field in the school setting. I love seeing student's achieve all their small and big goals with me! Being with my students during the school year is truly what keeps me coming back each year. They all inspire me to keep trying new things and getting sharper with my skills!

The methods of my teaching involve a lot of student led practice based on their current academic needs expressed by the parent and their past, or current, teachers. I integrated into my lessons their teachers programs into my plans to ensure that it maintains consistency for the child.
The typical first day will consist of what the child knows, the child does not know, and what the child is able to learn at this time. I want to ensure I stay within their learning proximity as I tutor them in the particular subject area. The rest of the sessions will consist of backtracking to ensure that their foundation of reading is strong before targeting what is currently being taught within the classroom.
I typically work with children between the ages of 5-10 years old in the areas of early literacy, grammar, and reading areas.
