About Nicole
Hello! I am an elementary educator who believes that with the right guidance, every child can truly thrive. My passion is transforming school frustration into academic confidence.
I bring a unique blend of professional classroom experience and deeply personal educational success to our tutoring sessions. Currently, I am in my 5th year of teaching elementary students at a private school, which keeps me fully up-to-date with current curriculum standards and classroom workloads.
Before transitioning into the private school classroom, I dedicated myself to homeschooling my children from Kindergarten all the way through high school graduation. I am incredibly proud of the foundation I built for my family: my son successfully graduated from our homeschool academy and is now thriving as a student at Georgetown University, while my daughter is currently flourishing as a remarkably gifted artist and competitive ice skater while successfully completing her education. Raising children with such diverse, high-level talents keeps me deeply connected to what students need to truly excel and thrive today!

My 1-on-1 tutoring sessions are designed to be patient, encouraging, and entirely tailored to your child's immediate needs.
Because I am currently a full-time elementary teacher, I know how exhausted children can be at the end of a long school day. That is why I focus on making our time together a positive, low-stress experience.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
• The Warm-Up (5 Mins): A quick, friendly check-in to build a comfortable connection and see how your child's school week is going.
• Homework & Schoolwork Support: We will tackle their current school homework, weekly worksheets, or classroom reading books together. I use gentle, step-by-step guidance so they truly understand the concepts rather than just rushing to find the answer.
• Targeted Skill Building: If your child finishes their homework early or just needs general reinforcement, I will use my classroom experience to guide them through fun reading games, phonics practice, or foundational math exercises.
• Wrap-Up & Review: We finish the session by highlighting what they did well, leaving them feeling capable and confident for their next day of school.
No advanced lesson prep is required from you! Just have your child bring their school materials, and we will conquer them together!
A Note on Lesson Length for Younger Learners:
