About Deepwater

I am an international, global citizen with roots in North America and in S Asia. As a sales and business development professional, I have mastered the art of articulate communication. I am an effective communicator and have a talent for understanding the needs of my clients and tailoring my approach to meet those needs. I always encourage my students to speak as much as possible as I understand this is the best way to gain in confidence and overcome initial shyness. While I might be a native speaker, I have much to learn about Teaching. So, I request your kindness when judging my ability to teach you. I find great joy in meeting students who're positive and smiling, and embrace a good discussion. My students' positive attitude motivates me to help them as best as I am able to.

My approach is student-centered, focusing on practical communication and confidence-building. I tailor lessons to each learner’s goals—whether it's for business, travel, or exam prep. A typical session includes a warm-up, targeted skill practice (speaking, listening, or writing), real-life scenarios, and constructive feedback. I make learning engaging through conversation, role-play, and personalized materials. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and simplify complex ideas. I work with adult learners, professionals, and university students at beginner to advanced levels, especially those looking to improve fluency, clarity, and real-world English use.
