About Amy

I have a MS in Early Reading and Literacy, Walden University. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education, University of Alabama I have 25 years experience teaching grades K-3. II am a certified LETRS educator. My specialty is struggling readers.

About the lesson

I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third grades. Most of my experience has been in first grade. I specialize in teaching phonics, sight words, reading comprehension, and basic literacy. I am certified in LETRS which is a new, teachers. research-based literacy course. I taught virtual first grade during the COVID shut down and the year that followed. I look forward to helping your child reach his or her full potential in reading.
