About Harriet
I am an early retired teacher with 28 years in the system. I became a master teacher and coordinator in language arts. My established writing program became a school-wide blueprint! I was appointed to start a single-gender program and became the Director of this program, instituting my special writing steps method in the ELA portion of the curriculum. I was featured on the Greenville news station and was visited by news reporters to gather information on how my students always scored high on the end-of-the-year school-wide test. I am also known to be a very relatable person that students love to interact with as they find motivation in my teaching style.
