About Patrick
I was an adjunct professor of English for 25 years in a community college while at the same time tutoring English and writing in a learning lab. While in graduate school, I taught English Composition while at the same time tutored in the Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques program. There isn't any writing problem I haven't seen and successfully helped students overcome. I tutor high school and college students.

Discuss student's individual paper and provide feedback. Talk about my experience as a writer and ask students to discuss their experiences and difficulties. Explain the structure of a composition (I.e. thesis and development). Discuss basic structure of a paragraph. Go over grammar, punctuation, and usage rules. Help students look for key words in reading comprehension.
