About Natalia

Hi! My name is Natalia, and I'm a recent University of Toronto grad with a BA in English and Philosophy, looking to help you increase your critical analysis. Before that, I was in the IB program at my school (which, I'm sure many of you know, is hard hard work). In the program, I ended up receiving a 7 in IB English A: Language and Literature HL. I also wrote the SAT reading and writing portion and received a 780. I am, decidedly, very good at reading and writing. And I am so excited to work with you to discover the wonderful world of critical analysis

I like to use practical, real-world applications to help you see that the skills you're developing go far beyond the Shakespeare you've been assigned. I help by breaking down the text into manageable chunks, and getting to the subtext underneath, letting you write thoughtful, interesting essays.
A typical lesson plan might begin with you telling me what you're working on: I am a huge believer that tutoring should be about making sure you get the information you need out of a session. Then, we will sit down together, and piece by piece, work through the session. I will provide you with resources and tips gathered through my degree, and it will culminate in working on a draft or final product together that you can be proud of.
