About Josie

Hello, my name is Josie! I graduated recently with a degree in education. Growing up I lived on a farm and loved being outdoors. Currently, I enjoy doing hands-on crafts and getting to know other people around me better. I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher because of my love for helping others and my deep passion for sharing knowledge with others.

About the lesson

• With my background in education, I have extensive knowledge in basic concepts for all areas of learning. I am especially experienced in teaching English basics such as reading, writing, grammar, and phonetics.

• Full time elementary classroom teacher. I have experience working with materials in all subject areas from a 1st to 6th grade level. Open to tutoring in any subject that you feel you need to improve on or just practice more!

• Experience working with students who are English as a second language learners.

• I am very easy to work with and will always adapt lessons to fit the needs of the learner. This includes difficulty level, pace of the lesson, and preferred learning styles of the student.

• I would love to get to know you and be a part of your learning journey!
