About Sharmistha

I have always been an ardent lover of the English language. I am very detail-oriented with a focus on strengthening the foundation. I wrote several poems and some of them also got selected and published by the Polar Expression Publisher in Canada. I taught my 4-year-old kid to read independently in one month. I do a lot of volunteering in helping people, especially newcomers in Canada, to learn the English language and implement it in their day-to-day life. Helping them in the job search process - writing a cover letter, resume, and job interview preparation. I am also working as a volunteer in my son's school in Waterloo, Ontario. Teaching is my passion and adding value to people's lives is what I enjoy the most.

About the lesson

I plan the curriculum based on the level and need of my student. I work on the foundation with focus on the Grammar. I like to keep things simple for my students so that they find the learning fun and not overwhelming. I believe in practical learning so that my students can implement them in their day to day life.
Learning is an experience and I thrive to provide an enjoyable experience to my students.
