About Aspen
I've always loved to read and write, ever since I was a kid! Many of my hours have been spent reading a good book or expressing myself through poetry. This time dedicated to English language arts has made me more proficient in the subject over the years. I've helped many other students, even in my own grade, improve their writing skills and reading comprehension. No matter how unsure of themselves they felt in their work, I assured them that they could improve their understanding and skills with hard work and practice (and occasionally some tutoring from myself!) This desire to further my education and assist others with their own is part of why I'm so motivated in pursuing my college degree. And I want to help young students achieve proficiency in English language arts that will motivate them to learn and give them confidence for their school future!

I enjoy broadening the horizons of others through English language arts! I aim to expand student understanding with learning topics related to literature and language development. Flexible teaching for reading and writing across multiple grade levels. Some core components include reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, literary analysis, written communication, literacy research, and critical thinking. Integrated approach to teaching, with real-world applications! Assistance with concepts being learned in the classroom while extending knowledge for further development!
