About Anjanah

Hi there! :) My name is Anjanah, and I’m secondary school English teacher. I have experience teaching KS3 English, GCSE English Language and Literature, and A Level English Language and Literature.

In my free time, I enjoy reading (no surprise there!), with tastes ranging from classic literature to manga. I also love going to the cinema, binge-watching Netflix, creative writing and practising yoga.

If you’re looking for support or personalised teaching to help you progress and build confidence in English, whether it be academic study or presenting a speech in class, please feel free to contact me on Superprof and we can get started!

About the lesson

Through my teaching experience, I’ve developed a wide range of pedagogical approaches and adaptive strategies, particularly to support neurodivergent students. I tailor my methodology to each individual learner, ensuring lessons are personalised so every student can grow in confidence and flourish in the subject.

As a neurodivergent educator myself, I understand the challenges and pressures that come with GCSEs and A Levels. I aim to make my students’ educational journeys as supportive, engaging, and enjoyable as possible while helping them achieve their academic goals.

Anjanah is an excellent teacher. She helped me a lot with my English when I arrived in the UK, and thanks to her, my vocabulary and fluency improved significantly. Anjanah is very gentle and has a super didactic way of explaining things. I highly recommend taking classes with her!

She really helped me when I was struggling to write English Literature essays for Othello and on Shakespeare poetry. I love the way she explains things and I'm grateful for her patience. Couldn't recommend her more!
