About Jaskarn
I am a Teacher Candidate at Western University in the Primary/Junior stream. My ultimate goal in life is to become an elementary teacher. I have over 8 years of experience working with children in various tutoring centers, such as the following: Best Brains, Megamind Learning Centre, TutorBright, Math4Me and many others. With my diverse experiences, I am well-equipped to help students excel in their learning.

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and tailored to best suit each individual's learning style. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match their strengths and assess areas for improvement.
A typical lesson plan includes a brief overview of previous material covered, followed by introducing a new concept or skill. I then work with the student through guided examples before allowing them to work independently with feedback and encouragement. I also incorporate reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension activities to create lessons that cover a wide range of concepts.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience and constant encouragement throughout the lesson. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become independent, confident learners who enjoy and thrive in learning.
My lessons are ideal for elementary school students who require additional support with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, essay writing, homework, and test preparation.
