About Elena

I’m an English tutor with 6 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Literary Theory and Criticism. I specialize in helping beginner and intermediate learners build the language skills they need for everyday life. Whether you're navigating a bank, grocery shopping, or figuring out public transport, I’ll guide you step by step. My lessons are practical, engaging, and always focused on real-world use. I use structured role-plays, easy-to-follow vocabulary lists, and scenario-based simulations to make learning feel natural and relevant. You’ll practice the kinds of conversations you need to feel confident and independent. I create a warm, supportive environment where questions are always welcome and progress is celebrated. I’ve had the joy of working with new immigrants, international students, and community members from all walks of life. Each session is tailored to your pace and daily needs. My goal is to help you speak and understand English with clarity and ease. We’ll take the stress out of learning and make each lesson a step toward real communication. Together, we’ll build your confidence in using English in everyday situations. Let’s make mastering English a rewarding and empowering journey.

My English teaching approach is all about helping you feel confident using the language in real-life situations—especially around money. I focus on personal finance vocabulary, budgeting conversations, banking interactions, and even basic discussions about investments. These are everyday topics that can feel tricky in another language, but they don’t have to be.

We’ll practice through friendly, natural conversation so you can speak clearly and comfortably in any financial setting. I love working with The Conversationalist and The Traveler, guiding them to use English smoothly in real-world moments. Whether you're opening a bank account, managing expenses, or talking about saving for a trip, we’ll cover it all. Lessons are flexible and easy to follow.

We use role-play, sample dialogues, and real-life materials to make learning practical. I create a supportive space where asking questions and trying new phrases feels safe and encouraging. Over time, you’ll start using financial English naturally and with ease. You’ll be able to talk about money without stress. Let’s make English feel effortless—even when it comes to numbers and money talk.
