About Duncan
More than four years as a teacher. More than a year teaching English in New Zealand to adult immigrants. Thailand, 2019, High School teacher in English, Rayong Province. Vietnam 2019 - 2020, High School teacher in English, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. Three and a half years teaching adult students online. I have a background as a newspaper journalist, and web developer.

I am a mature tutor with strengths in the English Language. I'm patient and understanding, and like to find explanations which 'click' with students. I have worked mainly with, and am looking for, teenage, adult, and ESL (English as a Second Language) students. I'll most often start with a short introduction, and work with some pre-arranged materials. Then follow that with a discussion. I'll provide short lesson notes afterward as a study aid for the student.
