About Madylin
Hi! I’m Madylin, an English tutor with a strong academic background in history, writing, and research. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Master’s degree in Museum Studies, and I’m currently pursuing my Juris Doctor, which means writing, reading critically, and working with complex material are a big part of my everyday life.
I enjoy helping students develop clear, confident writing skills and stronger reading comprehension, whether that’s for essays, test prep, or long-term projects like research papers and theses. I know that academic writing can feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking assignments into manageable steps and helping students understand the why behind what they’re doing.
My approach is patient, organized, and supportive. I aim to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build confidence, and make steady progress at their own pace.

Hi! I’m Madylin, and I offer tutoring in English, reading, writing, test preparation, and thesis support. I work with students who want to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and feel more comfortable with academic writing and exams.
I help students with essay writing, reading comprehension, grammar, research papers, and thesis development. We walk through the entire process, from brainstorming ideas and outlining to revising and polishing final drafts. I also provide test prep support, focusing on reading and writing strategies that make exams feel more manageable and less stressful. I have experience with the ACT, SAT, and LSAT.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and flexible. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs and learning style, whether you’re struggling with assignments, preparing for an important test, or working on a long-term writing project like a thesis. I aim to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where questions are encouraged and progress feels achievable.
