About Pauline

My name is Mrs. Pauline, and I am a qualified Master of Teaching (Secondary) educator specializing in English and Math. I work with students from Years 3–9, supporting them to build strong foundations, confidence, and independence in their learning.

I believe every student can succeed when teaching is clear, consistent, and personalized. My goal is not just to help students complete homework, but to teach them how to learn — developing problem-solving skills, resilience, and confidence that carry across all subjects.

I am passionate about supporting students who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. Through structured lessons, targeted feedback, and encouragement, I help students understand concepts deeply, improve their results, and feel proud of their progress.

I believe students learn best when they feel clear, supported, and confident. My teaching focuses on clarity, consistency, and confidence, ensuring students truly understand concepts rather than memorising answers. Lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs, with a strong emphasis on developing independent learning habits and transferable problem-solving skills.

I use:

➤Explicit teaching and step-by-step explanations

➤Targeted literacy and numeracy strategies

➤Personalised feedback and guided practice

➤Regular revision to strengthen foundational skills

➤Confidence-building techniques to reduce anxiety and self-doubt

➤Lesson structure

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and are offered as:

➤Small group lessons (4–6 students)

➤Private one-on-one tutoring

All students receive weekly homework, clear learning goals, and progress tracking to ensure steady academic improvement.
