About BHAVIKA

I am a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic tutor with five years of experience supporting students in Mathematics and English, particularly at KS1, KS2 level and 11+ preparation. I enjoy getting to know each student and understanding how they learn best, as I believe every child has their own strengths and challenges.

I like to make learning simple, engaging, and enjoyable by breaking difficult topics into smaller steps and using examples, questions, and practice to build understanding. Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.

The reason why I wanted to become a teacher was because for me, teaching is about making a real difference in a child's life, both inside and outside the classroom. I want to have a positive impact on children during an important stage of their development. I believe a good teacher can make children feel understood, supported, and confident in themselves. I would love the opportunity to encourage that confidence while helping students build the skills they need for the future.

About the lesson

My approach to English tutoring is centred around creating a supportive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment. I first take the time to understand each student’s individual needs, confidence level, and areas where they may need extra support. I then adapt my teaching style and pace to suit them, breaking topics down into clear and manageable steps.

During lessons, I use reading activities, discussions, examples, vocabulary exercises, and writing practice to help students develop their English skills. I encourage students to share their ideas, ask questions, and learn from their mistakes without feeling pressured. I aim to make lessons enjoyable while helping students improve their reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and comprehension.

My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students become more confident in expressing themselves, think independently, and develop a positive attitude towards English and learning.
