About Josh

In 2022, my teaching journey took me to Vietnam, where I had the incredible opportunity to work with both children and adults, fostering their English language skills. It was a fulfilling experience, as I witnessed the growth and development of my students in a diverse cultural setting.

Online tutoring has helped me in connecting with students from various ages, countries, and cultures. This shift has added a dynamic element to my teaching style, as I navigate through the unique needs and backgrounds of each student.

Teaching a diverse group of learners has not only broadened my own cultural awareness but has also enriched my teaching methods. Adapting to the individual preferences and learning styles of students from different corners of the world has been both challenging and rewarding.

About the lesson

My name is Joshua and I’m thrilled to become a part of your journey to English proficiency. I have qualifications in Business Management and Marketing, and I have been an online tutor for the past 2 years. In this time I have connected with over 100 students from all corners of the globe. Teaching various individuals of varying ages, cultures, preferences and goals has taught me the importance of recognising individualism in teaching, which I now indoctrinate into my teaching method to ensure a tailored approach to your lessons.

This personalised approach is the cornerstone of my teaching method. Your unique learning style and goals guide our sessions, ensuring that every step we take together is tailored to maximise your language development. I believe that learning should not only be effective but also enjoyable, making the process more engaging and sustainable.

My motivation to teach English stems from a genuine passion in helping people and my fascination with languages which connect all of us. English, being the ‘language of the world’ enables individuals who are not native speakers to connect, share stories, grow and mature in unprecedented ways. My academic foundation in Business Management and Marketing and experience working within numerous business sectors has provided me with the ability to share insights gained through both real-world applications and academic rigour.

In our virtual classroom, you're not just a student; you're an individual with a story, aspirations, and distinct strengths. My role is to identify those strengths, tackle challenges, and assist you in realising the full potential of your English language skills.
