About Rhianna

Hello,

My name is Rhianna and I am a Lecturer and PhD student. I work in the fields of sociology and education. I have completed three degrees at top universities, providing me with a wealth of knowledge on academic writing.

I have international experience teaching children 3-11 years. I have supported students with learning difficulties, EAL and dyslexia. I currently lecture on courses within the field of education. This wealth of experience enables me to work closely with my students to achieve the best results.

About the lesson

I am a fully qualified teacher. I have taught in primary schools internationally. I have also Lectured on Early Years and HND/ HNC courses within the field of education. I have tutored and supported students studying and writing at degree level.

My lessons are always built around my student and their needs. Each lesson will start with an agenda that the student sets. This allows us to set a goal for the session and see the progress made. My style is flexible to suit the student's way of learning.

Typically my sessions are 60 minutes, but shorter sessions of 30 minutes can also be booked. I offer a free 30-minute session for new students. This enables the student to experience a session and decide if it is the right support for them.

Topics and fields of research I have supported students in: childhood development and early years; education; education leadership; music education; teacher training; curriculum development.

Experienced with both qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, focus groups, surveys, ethnographic data, case study research and mixed methods.
