About Jason
I am a former college basketball player and current Skills Coach specialized in the art of shooting. I have played basketball my entire life , I am passionate about the game and I am dedicated to improving basketball players overall shooting ability. I was a Gatorade Player of the Year award winner in high school and led my team to a state championship. I received a full basketball scholarship from Bryant University where I scored over 1400 points and made 295 three pointers. After my playing career I have trained numerous players of all ages and abilities. My training style is based around dedication and confidence. I firmly believe confidence is a huge part of shooting the basketball and is built through hours of proper training and game like repetition.
I enjoy the every day challenge of becoming a better shooter. I love seeing improvement in my students and working hard for a common goal.

About the lesson

I evaluate the new student to get an idea of their current ability. This is done through basic shooting and basketball drills . I then ask the student what they want to get out of my training and what are their current goals. For the first lesson I will run them through drills I believe all basketball shooters should be doing . After the lesson I will develop a plan based on the students goals and current ability. I like to document stats on certain benchmark workouts and have the student compare them to future workouts, this will chart their progress. I will stress to the student that they needs to play and practice in their off time to first put the training into game like situations and second to keep improving every day.
