About Dean
Welcome! My teaching focuses on my student's strengths and reasons for learning. I ensure that students are taught from a personalized curriculum that brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the basketball fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life. I am passionate about basketball, ball handing and shooting skills. I believe I can engage any curious or dedicated student with this eclectic mix of perspectives and experience.
I have over 22 years of basketball knowledge. I played college basketball at HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY D1 for 2 years. I have been a student assistant coach at the man’s division 2 level for 2 years and have been around the program for 10-12 years. My strongest skill has always been handling the ball. With a great understanding of ambidexterity, court vision, compound moves, and footwork, I can have you/your child running circles around the competition!
