About Ryan
My service stands out because I don't just teach basketball, I work with kids as far as teaching them life skills as well. For example, time management, punctuality, eating right etc.
I enjoy being a coach and a another positive influence on kids. They need it. The saying "It takes a village" means a lot to me because it does take a volition raise these kiddos.
Actually got started at an early age myself when I got invited to come back to a summer camp I was attended. I believe I around 14 at the time
My wife and I have been working with children and teenagers for over 20 years now. From coaching at YMCA's, to heading after schools programs and working with kids at Juvenile Detention Centers

First you have to get to know your students, how they learn and what's there way of learning. All kiddos are different. What works for one may not work fo another. After we find out there skill level and began work. At the same time though I can be some what struck but also I am a goofball. I have fun with the kiddos but teach at the same time
All from all ages usually 5-15. Most of my students are beginners. So they are learning the fundamentals of the sport. But I've also worked with kiddos that have autism as well.
