About Gillian
For the past 10 years, I have been a professional technical writer working with major nonprofits to enhance their fundraising efforts and get translate their visions into the written word. I am transitioning over to individual support services, so everyone can improve their writing skills!
What I enjoy most about my work is seeing my students connect the dots, understand how to build their writing skills and ultimately come away with confidence!
I have a Bachelors through the Iowa Writers Workshop and a Masters in Public Health from UNC. Also attended the Teaching Artist Project (TAP) through Community Word Project.

Typically we begin with what they have written in the past, building upon the assets of their writing, along the way learning the formula to create a cohesive writing piece.
I have worked with students K-12, including those that have IEPs/differently abled.

Details
Intitial 15 minute consultation is free, with a full planning session after that being $50 flat free (whether it be a half hour/hour long session) that will come out with a plan moving forward. Tutoring sessions for 30 minutes will be $35 with hour long sessions begin at $50, but depending on distance could range from $50-70. Pricing is somewhat flexible so please inquire.
