About Emorie
As a college senior, I know exactly what you're going through. I'm going through it with you.
The last year has been a big change for all of us with virtual learning. Like you, I've had to learn to adapt.
Maintaining good grades during a pandemic may not be easy, but with my help it's definitely possible!
I have maintained an A average in all of my English/Journalism courses. Select me to be your tutor, and I can help you do the same!
I always say writing was my first love, and helping kids is my second. To be able to do both at the same time is a amazing.
I first began working with kids in 2015 when I graduated high school and got my first job as an assistant teacher at a daycare.
It was then that I realized I wanted to start tutoring, as well as become an English teacher in the future.
I will graduate with my degree in Journalism in the summer of 2021 and go on to get my masters in English Education in the fall of 2021.
I am college senior at Georgia State University majoring in Journalism.
I have earned A's in both my regular and Honors English courses throughout my college career. I currently hold a 3.25 GPA. I have also held a spot on the Dean's List the past 3 semesters.
I have been a freelance blogger/journalist since 2015.
I have also uploaded samples of past essays and articles in my gallery section.
To make it plain, I love writing and I love helping other students. I just want to help make your life easier and your grades higher.

The first session is a free 30 minute one. I use this session for me and my new student to get to know each other.
I also use this time to ask the student basic questions, and assess what areas they need assistance in.
We also discuss meeting times, study plans, etc.
I have worked with students ages 5-18 professionally, mainly junior high and high school students.
I also help my classmates and friends in college with editing and proofreading essays, studying for exams, etc.
