About Joshua

Hi. My name is Joshua Bair. I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and I have more than a decade of experience in academic tutoring.

The foundation of my approach is to encourage students to be curious and ask questions.

I have a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University, and an elementary education multiple subject teaching credential from the State of California. I have worked as a dual immersion bilingual 3rd grade classroom teacher in San Francisco Unified School District.

About the lesson

English lessons offered by Joshua are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in San Francisco. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

I used Writewell to find an English tutor. Josh was great because he was flexible in both schedule and manner of teaching. I presented him with various projects that he was able to help me understand and complete. Highly recommend, he’s able to simplify very well!
