About Sarina
As a tutor I find it extremeley vital to take time to understand the clients strengths and weaknesses in specific subjects. I make sure that tutoring sessions are productive, exciting, and cater to every students needs as well as wants. Tutoring should not be mundane--students shoud be able to enjoy learning and feel that they have gained knowledge that will be forever beneficial throughout their academic career!
I am a UC Berkeley graduate. I have tutored at my local community for 3 years and worked as a teacher's assistance at Math Enrichment summer camp. I have worked with adults in need of ESL tutoring, high school essay writing, and worked with elementary school children as well as children with autism.

In order to make sure that a prospective student will succeed, I analyze their strengths and weaknesses. I tailor my strategies based on which methods of teaching the student responds to best. For English, I will have my student write a reflection on their favorite book, movie, or TV show--therefore I can gauge what aspects of English they need assistance with. I will help edit essays, homework, and improve the student's writing skills. Every session should include a little humor and creativity!

If you want an English tutor, hire Sarina! She is great! She spent so much time with me on my school work, helping me write essays, and other school projects that I needed help editing. She is so nice and reliable. She helped both me and my brother and she only charges $25! Before her I hired tutor who charged me $50.00 and he was not half as good as Sarina.
