About Brian

I love being able to bring both my enthusiasm and experience to the table. Passing on what I've learned from my own tutors is my commitment.

I thought it made me so happy to finally get something that was so difficult for me to understand.

I've found that it's even better from the other side. It's so satisfying navigating students through a concept that they've struggled with and come out hyped that they got it.

For my sisters. For free.

I've been a tutor for QUITE some time, for both of my younger siblings, other family friends (vast majority), and other tutoring platforms.

Most importantly, I've been tutored myself since middle school. I know what it's like to awkwardly fumble questions the first time you meet them as well as a vast number of experiences. Patience with persistence was what powered me and those I've taught through their subects.

I've found as a student myself, the most important thing for the tutor and student to have is just a good understanding and relationship with each other. Typically students on here are new to tutoring or still trying to find the right person. Developing trust and showing them that you're patient enough to work problems out with them is key.

I've worked with the majority of education levels up til college-level (which I would still be interested in teaching). Teaching both my sisters and other family friends earlier on, growing up still teaching them, and then others from middle school to high school-level when I could get a job.

At the end of the day, it's up to the student, not the parent or tutor to decide if they're enjoying the learning experience and getting something out of it. Especially the learning aspect, if there's not something(s) that clicks with the student during each session, might not be the right match.

Finishing up finals!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What parts of this did I actually study? (First, most important question)

What things do I need help on?

What problems do I want him to answer for me? (The answer is none, I'll work them out with you though)
