• 1) What age did you start playing sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

  I started playing basketball at just 6 years old. I watched my older brother play and was inspired watching him play games on the weekend. He was my biggest inspiration. I realised is was a passion at 8 years old when I was scouted to play for the county... from there I continued to wokr on my skills everyday!

• 2) What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?

  My favourite sport is basketball! I love developign different skills and watching the game at different levels. I enjoy the team aspect of the game, wokring together and making those strong on and off court bonds.

• 3) What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

  My brother is definitly my biggest inspiration but I generally just love working on myself to be better. I enjoy inproving my skills to take my game to the next level. There are so many different parts of basketball so there are always new things to learn.

• 4) Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?

  I am proud of winning a handful of National MVP's over my career. I am also especially proud of my scholarship offers to play D1 basketball in America. I attended the University of Hawaii and was grateful for the memories made.

• 5) How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

  My leadership skills are something I am especially proud of. Being team captain of most of my national league teams growing up allowed me to work with varying personalities. I feel good when I am able to motivate and encourage players.

• 6) If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

  Kobe Bryant. I would have endless questions to ask him... but would first ask him how he maintained his focus on court.

• 7) How do you help people stay motivated?

  Verbal positive encouragement is helpful when I coach my students. I like to keep things ful whilst teaching various skills. It is always important to hear what the student wants to focus on and what their goals are.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof in sports?

  My dedication to basketball and to the students. I continuously seek ways to encourage and motivate my students - however best works for them. I have years worth of skill and professional experience to pass on.
