About Matwa

Hi, I’m Akhona Matwa. I have a National Diploma in Office Management & Technology and 4+ years of experience in telesales and administration. I’m interested in teaching because I enjoy using my strong communication skills to help learners gain confidence in English for school, work, and daily life.

About the lesson

I teach English to learners who want to speak, read, and write with more confidence. Lessons are patient, clear, and practical - we focus on real conversation, correct grammar, and vocabulary you can actually use in school, work, or daily life.

As someone fluent in both English and isiXhosa, I understand the challenges of learning English as a second language. I explain things in simple terms and adjust my pace to match your level, whether you’re a beginner or just need help improving fluency.

My goal is to make you feel comfortable speaking English without fear of mistakes. We’ll practice speaking, reading short texts, and writing sentences together until it starts to feel natural.
