About Deirdre

I’m a lifelong reader and writer with a genuine love for language, communication, and helping people express themselves clearly. Over the years, I’ve written short stories, creative pieces, poetry, song lyrics, and a column for my church newsletter, and I was also placed in an advanced English course in college.

My professional background in customer service and healthcare has given me years of real-world experience in active listening, clear communication, patience, and understanding people from many different backgrounds. I believe strong communication is about more than speaking well. Comprehension is just as important, and it’s something I place a strong emphasis on when helping others.

I also have experience helping people with essays, personal and professional statements, business plans, resumes, proofreading, and job interview preparation through mock scenarios. As a single mom, I’m actively involved in teaching and reinforcing ELA skills at home, and my daughter has consistently read two to three grade levels above her current level.

I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely enjoy seeing people gain confidence, strengthen their skills, and excel.
