About Sonia

I’m an English tutor who loves helping students discover the power of language. Working one-on-one or in small groups, I tailor each session to the student in front of me, whether that means untangling a tricky essay, building reading confidence, or sharpening grammar and vocabulary. Without the pace of a full classroom, we can focus on what actually needs work and celebrate progress as it happens.

My approach is built on patience, encouragement, and clear goals. I help students find their own voice in their writing, think critically about what they read, and gain practical strategies they can use long after our sessions end.

Outside of tutoring, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand or a pen on the move!
