About Aileen

Hi my name is Aileen! I have been tutoring these subjects for a number of years. I have always found it super rewarding seeing my students grow and find a new interest in the subject. I welcome all students of any age and ability!

About the lesson

English Language, literature : Using fun and engaging exercises, model answers and past papers. Working through each section of the paper and making sure the student has a strong understanding of the skills needed. Working through the content of each book and ensuring the student understands the meanings and effects. For English I ensure they have a strong knowledge of the language techniques and some basic understandings of their effects which can be further developed for specific quotes. Furthermore, we annotate each play, poem and book in sections to make sure they have the tools for their exams. (GCSE-A Level) For more, please do not hesitate to book a free meeting/ lesson

When my son started English tuition with Aileen he wasn’t confident and was quite apprehensive at taking lessons online. Frankly he wasn’t keen on English at all.

Aileen changed all that. She was very patient and encouraged him in each lesson. She was able to make lessons fun, and always seemed to have several ways of explaining things to him until he understood and remembered. I am definitely recommending Aileen with 5/5 stars!
