Hi there! It is so nice to virtually meet you!
My name is Rebecca. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. I graduated in 2019, and since then I have had two children, Evelyn and Jennifer. My professional positions have all been related to customer service, mostly in an online environment. I have done tutoring in the past for family and friends. I am very confident in my knowledge and ability to tailor each session to the individual student for the best possible outcome.

I am focused on developing reading comprehension and essay writing skills for middle school to high school grade levels. We will work together on recognizing and using literary devices, vocabulary, how to structure an essay, finding and organizing credible sources, and more! I am available for online sessions only at this time due to the pandemic. I know distance/virtual learning has been hard for a lot of students and caused a lot of setbacks. Our one-on-one sessions will be to support the specific needs of each student. Generally, our first session will be to see where you are currently, versus the level you need to be. I will also ask each student about how they feel they best learn, so we can adapt the session to be as beneficial as possible. We are all different; let's celebrate that!
