About Lorna

I have been in education in one realm or another since 1996. I attended San Diego State and attained two teacher credentials after I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies. I began teaching in 2004 and have taught middle and high school the majority of these years; however, I have also taught K-6 grades as well. My expertise is significant and I will assist students meet their social, emotional, and academic goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, clear, and relevant to the task at hand. I meet objectives by creating lessons in which my students thrive. They’re engaging and provide an opportunity for my students to dive deep into concepts and grow in one’s knowledge of content matter.

I have been a teacher at the middle and high school level for 30 years. My strengths are in ELA, Social Studies, Earth Science, Geography, Executive Functioning, and Differentiated Learning. I have a wide variety of tools to assist in the elevation of your students’ academic success. I am also a family advocate for students with IEPS.
