About Jane
My name is Jane and I have a wealth of teaching and examining experience. I love teaching English and helping students to develop their confidence with language and their understanding of the texts and stories we study.
I have tutored many students over the years and it is lovely to watch their confidence grow and to help them succeed at the highest level.

Lessons will last an hour and initially I will assess which areas of the course the student feels least confident in. I will then design sessions tailored to develop these skills and increase their confidence and performance.
I can help build subject knowledge and hopefully share my enthusiasm for literature and language. We will write responses together and analyse their strengths and weaknesses and we will reflect upon which strategies work best. Our sessions will fully prepare students for exams.
