My teaching method is I like to see what they know first , and whatever the person doesn't understand we will go over that first and then put everything together to see if the need any more help.
My typical lesson plan could follow a structured approach, with a focus on developing reading comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. Here’s an example of what my lesson plan might look like:
Any grade level
Duration: 25 minutes to 45 minutes
My objective : Improve reading comprehension skills,
expand vocabulary through context clues and active reading, and practice critical thinking and analysis of texts.
Some materials could be a reading passage (article, short story, or excerpt) , paper for notes , and a pencil.
My lesson outline: Begin with a short discussion or question to activate prior knowledge on the topic of the reading. For example, if reading a passage about a historical event, ask students what they know about the topic.
They will read the passage aloud or silently, depending on their level and preference.
I will ask them to highlight or underline words or phrases they don’t understand.
Focus on the words identified during reading. (And so on)
What sets me apart is my ability to blend personalized teaching methods with a deep understanding of each student's individual needs.
