I have experience in adult education and as a highschool teacher with a focus on helping marginalised studnets to access education. I have a great kit bag of tricks to help you learn to read and write according to text types to suit the subject. I pitch my lessons so they are relevant and meaningful with real world contexts to suit the learner.

I used a scaffolded literacy approach which helps students from non literate backgrounds to understand literate language and express themselves effectively. The approach is designed to provide a sstress free environment in which students are comfortable to try new things and practices the skills they need to retain information.
